I’m currently a final-year PhD student at the University of Oxford working on optimization and learning for robotics. Specifically, I’m interested in understanding how different representations affect the control of robotics from a frequency and model fidelity perspective and understanding how these can be best combined.

As of May 2022, I have started a research scientist internship at Toyota Research working on learning for representation and tactile control for robotics.

Before starting my PhD, I interned at Disney Research and Development working on controls for the bipedal robot Kiwi.

Formerly, I studied legged locomotion at USC where I looked into contact-implicit optimization, simplified models, optimization, and nonlinear control for bipedal robots such as the SARCOS humanoid.

Before that, I worked at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Labs studying wheeled locomotion for Mars and simplified models for vibration simulation at SpaceX.

Outside of my research, I'm often working on music, learning photography, cooking, or exploring the world with my friends.
